(KSL News) A new tool could take the dread out of going to the dentist.
It is called Waterlase and uses light and water to break down tissue rather then the traditional drill.

Dentists say the lack of heat and vibration from the drill causes less pain and puts patients at ease. Pediatric dentist Mike Leong says, "It minimizes how much tooth structure we take, so there's no damage or fractures or fissures."
