(KSL News) A delegation of Utah lawmakers left today for China. Lawmakers say the trade mission is to establish ties with the country.
They say the trip will pay off in the long run, even though the price for taxpayers right now is high. The delegation budgeted $18,000 for the trip. The actual cost is some $26,000.
Half of the 13 lawmakers took their spouses.
