(KSL News) High winds downed some trees, and that's being blamed for knocking out power to about 1,500 people in Salt Lake this evening.

Officials with Rocky Mountain Power reported problems at a substation near 420 West 600 South. They also received calls of scattered outages in Roy and Davis County.
