(KSL News) A military remnant caused a bomb scare in Herriman. An unexploded artillery shell was found just off of Camp Williams by crews doing an inspection of the northern boundary of the base.

Officials say the round was likely there for at least 20 years.

Today they disposed of it by exploding it on the Camp Williams firing range.
