(KSL News) Snapped power lines sparked a fire in Spanish Fork Canyon early this morning.
Wind blowing from the southwest is causing the fire to spread upward and east through the very dry mountain.
Fire crews are battling the blaze on the ground and from the air.
The fire is not threatening residents or structures, but crews are watching it closely since it's burning directly across from Highway 6, near Covered Bridge Canyon.
