(KSL News) No matter how high or low gas prices are, some officials want Davis and Salt Lake County residents to stop driving. The reason: air quality.

The Utah Division of Air Quality reports red air quality conditions are expected to last through tomorrow in those counties.

Residents of Utah and Weber Counties are asked to cut back on their driving over the next few days.

Air quality is yellow in those areas, but is expected to reach red levels on Wednesday.
