3 suspects run from police, 2 arrested

WEST VALLEY CITY -- Police arrested two suspects and are looking for a third who tried to run from a police officer.

West Valley City police say an officer stopped a car for a traffic violation around 2:30 a.m. As the officer got out of his patrol car, the vehicle with three people inside sped away.

Police chased the suspects for several blocks before stopping near 7100 West and Tenway Drive.

Police arrested two women at the scene but a man escaped.

Officers say they found two handguns and methamphetamine in the car.
