SALT LAKE CITY - Utah Jazz senior vice president of basketball operations, Kevin O'Connor, announced today that the team has acquired the draft rights to Kyrylo Fesenko (38th overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft) from the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for the draft rights to Herbert Hill (55th overall pick) and trade considerations.

A native of the Ukraine, Fesenko (7-0, 235 lbs.) averaged 6.7 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.6 blocked shots in 18.5 minutes a contest for Cherkaski Mavpi of the Ukrainian SuperLeague. Fesenko scored in double figures seven times, posting a season high of 17 points. In six games at the FIBA EuroCup Challenge, Fesenko averaged 7.2 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocked shots in 18.7 minutes.

A member of the Ukranian National Team, Fesenko averaged 6.8 points, 6.9 rebounds and 2.0 blocked shots at the 2005 U20 European Championships in Moscow. In 2004, the seven-footer averaged 12.0 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.6 blocked shots at the U18 European Championships in Zaragoza, Spain.
