(KSL News) A secretary who embezzled more than $1 million from Weber County school foundation says good auditors could have stopped her.
Denise Aughney says she got away with it for seven years because auditors didn't do their jobs. Aughney used the money to go on trips, pay off her credit cards and buy a Camaro.
She has pleaded guilty to 45 counts of theft, forgery and money laundering.
