SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A homeless outreach group for teens says it is running low on water to give the area's homeless population during the hot summer months.

Volunteers of America says it depends on donations and there are certain items it is in dire need of as temperatures near 100 degrees. That includes water, insect repellent, sunscreen, socks and undergarments.

Donations in Salt Lake City can be made at 511 West, 200 South in Suite 160 in Salt Lake City.
