(KSL News) Police have a new lead in their investigation into a fatal shooting on the freeway.

Luis Trujillo died on Sunday when someone shot at the car he was riding in. The Deseret Morning News reports a man driving behind Trujillo's car has contacted police.

He told them the shots came from a brown or gold passenger sedan that was driving without lights.

The man also saw a white SUV nearby. The people in that car are not suspects, but police would like to interview them about what they saw.
