Letter with an unknown white powder opened at Salt Lake business

SALT LAKE CITY -- Hazmat crews responded to a business at 4220 W. 2100 South because of a suspicious white powder.

Someone in the business opened a letter that had an unidentified white powder inside around 2:30 Wednesday afternoon.

Seven adults and two children were exposed to the powder, but no one has reported any effects.

As a precaution crews have set up a perimeter around the business.
