MIDWAY -- A crash killed two horses and caused a pickup truck to burst into flames.

Witnesses say it happened in Midway, shortly after 7 p.m.

The truck was passing through a foggy area and hit two horses in the road. The driver was able to escape but the truck burst into flames.

The Wasatch County sheriff said the horses are from a nearby pasture and likely escaped because of heavy snow on fences.
