(KSL News) A group raising concern among the Salt Lake City gang unit is trying to change the public's perception of them.
People who called themselves Juggalos have been collecting clothes for the community. They say they've gotten a lot of bad representation in the media, and they wanted to show people that they are concerned about their community.
"A lot of people think we're a gang, that we're crazy, that all that we're about is fighting and tearing things apart and crazy stuff. This is not a gang. This is a family and this is what we do. We do this because we care about the people around us," a member of the group said.
Most of the clothes will go to children. The group is donating the clothes to a Salt Lake City homeless shelter.
