(KSL News) A couple of wildfires in Utah County kept firefighters busy today.

Chopper Five captured the smoke and flames over Lake Mountain. Dry conditions, high wind and steep terrain made it difficult for crews to fight the fire.

We just spoke with Bureau of Land Management officials. They say the fire has burned 500 acres, and is about 20 percent contained.

It's burning about four miles south of Saratoga Springs, but no homes are threatened, only communication towers.

We're keeping a close eye on the fire and will have any updates tomorrow.

Just east of the Spanish Fork campgrounds on Highway 6, another fire is burning.

A viewer, Debi Egles, who lives nearby in Covered Bridge, sent us pictures. She says residents are concerned because they only have one way out of the community, and the fire is inching closer.

Fire officials say it's about 100 acres.
