MIDVALE -- The parking lot of a business complex in Midvale is submerged in water after a water pipe broke.
Crews found a hole in an 8-inch pipe near the lot at 7300 South and Union Park Avenue around 5:30 a.m.
Crews have shut off the flow and are working to repair the pipe. The parking lot is submerged in water, which is 2 to 3 feet deep in some places and is starting to freeze.
Orange cones have been set up to make sure drivers avoid the area.
