SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Independent distributors filed a lawsuit today accusing USANA Health Sciences of fraud and deception.
It's another public-relations blow for the Utah company that sells vitamins and nutritional supplements.
The proposed class-action suit was filed in California, which has tough multilevel marketing laws.
Some USANA distributors say they've lost thousands of dollars of losses on business "kits" and overpriced products.
USANA says the lawsuit is without merit.
