ZION NATIONAL PARK — A section of the Zion-Mt. Carmel Highway damaged in a recent storm has been repaired and reopened.
On Dec. 20, the highway was closed between the park's east entrance to Canyon Junction in Zion Canyon after a storm undercut a portion of the road and threatened to wash out other sections.
Meanwhile, Kolob Canyons Scenic Drive has been cleared and is open to the public. Zion Canyon Scenic Drive is open with a section of one-way traffic south of the Court of the Patriarchs. Zion Lodge is also open.
For updated conditions, go to the park's website.
