Police looking for man in sexual assault case

SALT LAKE CITY - Salt Lake City police are asking for the public's help finding a man suspected of sexual assault.

Police say the assault took place at Pioneer Park on December 14. The man they're looking for is Paul David Vara. He's a Hispanic male, about 6 feet, 1 inch tall, 260 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes.

Vara has two tattoos on his neck—one of eyeballs, the other saying "Diana".

If you have any information about Vara's whereabouts, police ask you to call them at (801) 799-3000. Callers can remain anonymous.
