(KSL News) A mother and wife in Tooele spends her spare time saving lives!

Mindy Millet is a volunteer firefighter for the North Tooele County Fire District and was nominated for a High 5 by her husband, Kevin.

Kevin said, "As you can see, she kind of gets ready at the crack of dawn and does what she needs to do to help people."

We asked Mindy, "So are you surprised?"

She said, "Yeah, shocked. I was looking forward to sleeping in."

As a thank you, Mindy received a gift basket from the Thanksgiving Point Emporium.
