HEBER CITY, Utah (AP) -- A golf legend has been tapped to design a private course in Heber City.

Jack Nicklaus was in Utah yesterday to announce his involvement in the Red Ledges project.

The upscale development will also include a gated community, an equestrian center and a private ski-in, ski-out club at Deer Valley.

Nicklaus says the 27-hole course will show respect for the existing landscape. He says there will be a few long holes to challenge big hitters or the occasional pro who might pass through. But he says most of the holes will be playable for the members who live at the development.

Nicklaus designed Park Meadows golf course in Park City about 25 years ago. ------ Information from: The Salt Lake Tribune,
