(KSL News) A fight between Salt Lake City Mayor Rocky Anderson and developer Dell Loy Hansen may end up in court.
Anderson has asked police and city attorneys to look at video of an incident that happened earlier this month at the city county building, and see if criminal charges should be filed against Dell Loy Hansen.
The video shows Hansen and Anderson having a heated confrontation. Several onlookers witnessed the altercation, but did nothing to stop it.
Here's what Anderson told KSL Newsradio earlier this afternoon. "If someone did that to the President of the United States, they probably would have been shipped off to Guantanamo by now. I mean, My chief of staff thought he was going to deck me."
Hansen was angry about statements Anderson had made about his company Wasatch Property Management. He has apologized for his part in the confrontation and said he should have had more patience in dealing with the mayor.
