LOGAN, Utah (AP) -- Utah State University will offer two new degrees this fall.
The school is adding a doctorate-level emphasis in speech-language pathology and an undergraduate degree in equine science and management.
The speech pathology emphasis is being added to Utah State's disability disciplines doctoral program. It would involve helping individuals with articulation, swallowing or auditory comprehension problems.
The Department of Animal, Dairy and Veterinary Sciences is adding the new emphasis on the study of horse science and management. The new specialization will cover a variety of topics including riding, stable management and horse behavior.
