(KSL News) Several fires are burning in Utah. The largest fire burning tonight is in Tooele County.

A 1,500-acre fire, sparked by target shooting, is burning at the north end of the Stansbury Mountains. Helicopters are on the scene, but no structures are in danger. Steep terrain and high winds are giving firefighters trouble.

And if you live in Summit County, you may have seen or smelled a fire burning there.

Officials with the Bureau of Land Management say a fire sparked near Echo Reservoir in Emory. It's about 80 acres.

No structures are threatened. Firefighters have a pretty good handle on it, as long as the winds don't change.

The National Weather Service is also reporting numerous small grass fires in Box Elder County.
