(KSL News) A Kearns man, who knocked his wife's eyeball out, is out of jail tonight and will not face charges.

Police say Duane Sorensen had an argument yesterday with his wife. They say he hit her over the head with a piece of wood. The blow cracked her skull and popped her eye out.

Sorensen has a criminal history of domestic violence. But in this case, the district attorney's office filed a "no complaint" order, which could mean the wife won't press charges, and the district attorney's office won't prosecute.
