My husband Aaron is a great father. I've known this for 17 years. I knew Aaron years ago when we both worked at KTALK radio, although I never thought we'd be parents together. (Which is a good thing since he was married to someone else at the time.)

I've been in awe of how he puts his children first. I remember when we first dated, I had no idea what a parent's complete love and devotion looked like. I watched Aaron pick up his kids every weekend and at least one night during the week, love them, give them everything he had and more. He taught me what the love of a parent looked like, how it pushed through sickness and sadness and every other challenge to love the children.

Now I get to learn how to be a parent from him with our two little ones, Ethan and Aiden. He humbles me with how good he loves them, how good he loves all of us. Forgive my moment of sappy gratitude here. I just wanted to share this picture with you of the amazing man behind the annoyingly enthusiastic woman on morning radio.
