SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Dominic Oduro scored in the 93rd and final minute to give F.C. Dallas a 1-0 victory over Real Salt Lake on Thursday night in Major League Soccer.

Oduro took the ball upfield himself, and put a low shot in the back corner past goalkeeper Nick Rimando.

It was the second time this season that Dallas (7-5-1) has scored an extra-time goal against Salt Lake (0-4-6). In the season opener, Carlos Ruiz -- absent Thursday night to play for Guatemala in the Gold Cup -- scored in extra time to give Dallas a tie.

Dallas also played without forward Kenny Cooper, sidelined by a broken leg.

Minutes before Oduro's goal, Dallas' Marcelo Saragosa and Arturo Alvarez had close-range shots on goal in the same sequence.
