SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- An earthquake with a magnitude 3.8 was reported Sunday by the University of Utah Seismograph Station.

The quake occurred at 7:03 p.m., the center said in a news release.

The epicenter was located not far from the Utah-Nevada border in a sparsely populated area between Enterprise, Utah and Joseca, Nev.

Records show the last earthquake recorded in the area was a 5.6 temblor in 1966.

The seismograph station asks anyone who felt the quake to fill out an online survey at its web site, www.quake.utah.edu.
