SALT LAKE CITY -- The sister of Josh Powell is speaking out about her brother's recent interview with the Salt Lake Tribune.

In the interview, Powell claims his missing wife Susan is still out there. Powell says he believes she is unstable and mental illness drove her away.

But Josh's sister, Jennifer Graves, says the interview is full of lies and that she is disturbed by his claims.

"It's hard to hear them slander her this way. These things are completely untrue. So why, 11 months after she disappears, are they suddenly trying to make her look like some horrible person?" said Graves.

Graves says there is no way Susan would have left her children behind.
