(KSL News) A Salt Lake City cab driver lost control and ran his cab into a canal this afternoon.
It happened around 2:00 p.m. at 1100 West and 1700 South.
Two witnesses who saw the car crash jumped into the water to help get the driver out.
There were able to save him, but he still has some serious injuries.
The accident is under investigation.
