Mary Richards, KSL NewsRadioA heavy television set fell and killed a child. It happened in North Salt Lake near 655 North Highway 89.

Police say Shaine Burton's family was watching television in their living room, when the TV toppled down on top of the 4-month-old baby.

Shaine was flown to the hospital but was pronounced dead. Officers say they don't know what made the TV fall but say it was an accident.

Safety advocates say put TVs on stable furniture of the right size, and keep the TV as far from the front edge of the furniture as possible.
