(KSL News) Five young men on four motor scooters got into a wreck in South Jordan this evening.
They were riding their scooters in the area of 10600 South and 900 West. All were heading in the same direction.
Adam Reed was one of the riders. "A couple of us came to a complete stop and one of us wasn't really paying attention and nailed us all," he said. "The one that nailed us all had a passenger on with him. He got Life-Flighted and then the passenger got taken to the hospital."
All of the boys suffered road rash. They weren't wearing helmets and now admit that was a mistake.
The most seriously injured young man was bleeding a lot from the mouth. His head hit the pavement, breaking several of his teeth and taking a gouge out of the side of his face.
