By now Real Salt Lake has been resting some place in the Dallas area enjoying the 75 degree weather and Texas beef. The game plan's in and what we see on Saturday will go a long ways for to advancing to the conference semifinals. Head Coach Jason Kreis has said he is planning a conservative game plan, which usually means counter attracts and a lot of ball control, which is RSL's best attribute. I'm looking for the midfield to actually be the main offense in this but, I didn't make the game plan and would like to see what Kreis means by "conservative" game plan.

Last night while watching the Rapids win at Dick's Sporting Good Park 1-0 over Columbus, I wanted to hear what ESPN's talking heads would have to say on all the playoffs match up's including FC Dallas vs Real Salt Lake. To some disappointment they almost said nothing. With FCD and RSL being considered the best or most even match up, I would of expected some sort of break down. Nope, not at all. They just said, should be a good match and moved on to other topics. Oh well, much like the NBA where the big markets get the coverage and love (Miami anyone), this is no different MLS needs eye balls and RSL does not bring them like the big cities.

For anyone interested in watching the game with a large group of like minded people, the RSL Watch Party will be at the Stadium for your enjoyment. It's not a bad deal for $25 you get into the stadium, watch the game on anyone of the 12 big screens, All-you-can-eat food, prizes at the door all beginning at 2pm an hour before the game. If I'm reading it right they said only 160 spots so it's recommended you reserve your spot. So if you're not shooting wildlife or attending another sporting event this could be your ticket to entertainment.

Game begins at 3pm MST on Fox Soccer Channel.
