(KSL News) Thousands of people lined the streets of downtown Salt Lake City this morning for Utah's gay pride parade.
Salt Lake City Mayor Rocky Anderson, a supporter of gay rights, participated in the parade. Former Jazz basketball player John Amaechi returned to Utah to lead the parade as the grand marshal.
The gay pride celebration has expanded this year to run three days. Today is the final day. As a single-day event in the past, it drew estimated crowds of more than 30,000.
