(KSL News) Utah's partial birth abortion ban can now be implemented.

Yesterday a U.S. district judge lifted an injunction stopping the ban from being put in place when it was first passed in 2004.

At the time, the U.S. Supreme Court had not yet heard a case questioning the legality of a similar federal ban signed into law by President Bush.

Earlier this year the justices decided that ban was legal and did not in fact violate a woman's right to an abortion.
