The Cougars will travel to South Bend, Ind., to take on the Fighting Irish on Oct. 20, 2012, and make a return trip the following year on Nov. 16, 2013. Notre Dame Stadium, one of the most renowned college football facilities in the nation, opened in 1930 with a seating capacity of 54,000.
The stadium underwent a major expansion in 1997 and has a current seating capacity of 80,795.
The other four games in the six-game series will be played between 2014 and 2020. Two of the remaining games will be at LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo, Utah, and the other two in South Bend. Details will be announced at a later date.
