CEDAR CITY, Utah (AP) -- A jury is deliberating in the case of a man charged with murder in the death of his group home counselor.

Sean Graham faces charges of aggravated murder, aggravated kidnapping and theft in the 2004 death of Anson Arnett.

Graham and Jesse Simmons were both 17 at the time of the incident. Police say they hit Arnett in the head with a baseball bat and locked him upside down in a closet. They fled the home in van and were arrested in Las Vegas. Arnett died of his injuries the next day at a Salt Lake City hospital.

Simmons pleaded guilty to first-degree felony murder in 2005 and was sentenced to five years to life in prison.

If Graham is convicted he faces up to life in prison.
