SALT LAKE CITY -- Friday marked an ominous anniversary in Utah: 25 years since a string of bombings in Salt Lake City left two people dead and the bomber badly injured.

Hofmann killed two people and nearly himself in what turned out to be an attempted cover-up of a massive historical document forgery case.

Ken Sanders, a rare book dealer who has become a bit of an expert on Hofmann's forgeries, says there continue to be victims.

"So many of his forgeries haven't been discovered and are being rediscovered now and passed on either innocently or perhaps not so innocently as the real thing to a new generation," Sanders says.

Hofmann is serving a life sentence for the deaths of Kathy Sheets and Steve Christensen.
