This is Lane Beattie, president of the Salt Lake Chamber, with your Metro Business Report.

O.C. Tanner has announced Charlotte L. Miller as the new Senior Vice President of People & Great Work for the global company. In her new role, Miller will be responsible for developing, encouraging, inspiring and engaging O.C. Tanner's 16-hundred employees.

Putting people first, valuing individuals and growing their talents are just a few of Miller's strengths that have prepared her for her new role at O.C. Tanner. Miller has served as the Utah State Bar President, on the Task on Racial and Ethnic Diversity, on the Access to Justice Foundation, and as the first woman from Utah in the American Bar Association House of Delegates. She has been recognized as one of the "50 Most Powerful Women in Utah Business, as Pro bono Attorney of the Year and with the Leadership Award from the Association of Corporate Counsel.

O.C. Tanner also owns and operates two fine jewelry stores in Salt Lake City and Park City, Utah.
