No. 1 Bingham Miners (7-0, 4-0) vs. No. 4 Riverton Silverwolves (8-0, 4-0)Can anyone threaten the Bingham Miners this season? The Riverton Silverwolves will get their chance on Wednesday night when the host perhaps the biggest regular season matchup of the year. The Miners are averaging 52 points per game while giving up just 9 per game. They haven't faced a team with a run game as deep and talented as Riverton. The Silverwolves are off to the best start in school history.

Fremont Silverwolves (7-1, 7-0) vs. No. 2 Davis Darts (7-0, 6-0)

These two teams will battle for the region 1 title on Wednesday night. The Darts have been as good as advertised and the Silverwolves have won seven straight games since losing the season opener against Jordan. Both teams have had success winning close games. Expect a close one Wednesday night.

No. 2 Springville Red Devils (7-1, 4-0) vs. No. 3 Mountain Crest Mustangs (6-2, 3-1)

Just because this is a non-region game doesn't make it irrelevant. These two teams believe they are 4A state title contenders and both could get a huge confidence boost with a win as the playoffs approach.

No. 3 Millard Eagles (6-2, 4-0) vs. No. 4 Enterprise Wolves (7-1, 4-0)

This game will determine the 2A West championship and the winner will earn a No. 1 seed in the 2A playoffs. Wolves quarterback Slade Moyle leads the entire state in rushing touchdowns with 17 and passing touchdowns with 25.

Snow Canyon Warriors (3-5, 3-2) vs. Pine View Panthers (4-3, 3-2)

It's likely that the winner of this game will make the playoffs and the loser will not. That should create a playoff atmosphere in St. George on Wednesday night. This series is dead even, 8-8 all-time.
