Several local businesses are busy building the 700-thousand square feet of retail space that will be the City Creek Center, and behind the scenes the top retail management company in the world is hard at work crafting the perfect mix of retailers to make the project a draw to people along the Wasatch Front, throughout the state and across the region.

The Taubman Company, which operates some of the nation's premiere shopping centers, is an invested partner in the City Creek Project. The company's philosophy centers on enhancing the shoppers experience and that means bringing in the right mix of merchants.

Dave Harris, vice president of regional management for the Taubman Company, says the City Creek Center is designed to draw people into the City for that shopping experience. He says no matter what people come to Utah to do, experiencing the City Creek Center will be part of the itinerary. You can find more information at
