MURRAY -- A police cruiser and another car collided in Murray late Thursday night, sending one man to the hospital.

Lt. Tom Martin with the Murray City Police Department said the Murray police officer was driving east on 5600 South near 1000 East when the crash happened.

He said the officer was not injured, but the driver of the other car, a man in his 30s, was taken to the hospital with a possible head injury.

Police are still unsure who was at fault in the crash.

Officers from the Midvale Police Department will investigate the crash to avoid conflicts of interest.
