SALT LAKE CITY -- Intermountain Healthcare is suing a former employee because she didn't inform the company of a clerical error that resulted in her being overpaid by thousands of dollars.
According to a court document, IHC was supposed to pay Johanna Naranjo $10.60 an hour for the two weeks she was employed in October of 2008. Instead, due to a clerical error she received $899 an hour.
IHC is requesting Naranjo reimburse the excess funds of more than $14,000 plus interest accrued since 2008, collection expenses and attorney fees.
