LOGAN, Utah (AP) -- Utah State University's president is on a fundraising drive that will take him to 11 cities in an effort to raise $200 million for the school.
President Stan Albrecht will meet with about 100 alumni at each stop. The first is scheduled for today in Phoenix, Arizona. He'll also be traveling to Los Angeles, Seattle, Denver and Washington, D.C.
The cities were chosen for their high concentration of USU grads. Since the campaign kicked-off in March, $110 million has been raised.
The funds from the effort go toward faculty endowments, scholarships and university improvements.
