More Utahns are expected to travel this Memorial Day weekend, in spite of record-high gasoline prices.
AAA predicts nearly 350,000 Utahns will travel at least 50 miles from their home. An estimated 288,000 people will drive to their destination. Some 51,000 people say they will fly.
These are slight increases from last year. AAA says people will probably cut back on other expenses like lodging and food to compensate for paying more to travel.
