(KSL News) The Utah Department of Health today honored emergency services professionals as part of National EMS week.
Among those recognized are the first responders to the Trolley Square shooting. That includes Salt Lake City Fire, Salt Lake City Dispatch, Southwest Ambulance and Gold Cross Ambulance.
Two teenagers from Freemont High School in Plain City also received awards for their quick work to give CPR to a fellow classmate when she collapsed from an undetected heart condition.
