NEW HARMONY, Utah (AP) -- A man driving a motor home to Utah from an auction in California pulled off Interstate 15 when he saw smoke and watched the vehicle burn to the ground, authorities said.
"You could get a flatbed truck and just scoop up what was left," said Jeff Haycock, a 911 supervisor said.
State Trooper Matthew Cluff, who was at the scene in Washington County, said the most likely cause was an electrical problem.
He said the driver was traveling to Utah County on Sunday after purchasing the motor home at an auction in San Diego.
