PARADISE, Utah (AP) -- Northern Utah authorities say a man whose wife reported him missing after he didn't come home from paragliding was found dead near the launch area.
The Cache County sheriff's office says 65-year-old Richard Rallison, of Paradise, had gone paragliding alone Thursday.
Rallison's wife reported him missing late Thursday after finding she found his truck in the parking lot below the paragliding launch site, but no sign of her husband.
Deputies discovered Rallison's body while hiking up the mountainside to the launch site.
Cache County Sheriff's Lt. Matt Bilodeau says investigators don't believe Rallison's death was flight-related and don't know whether he launched his aircraft.
Bilodeau says an autopsy was planned.
