(KSL News) -- The Hill Aerospace Museum's newest airplane is all spruced up and ready to see. It's a World War II era P-47.
The museum staff and volunteers have spent more than three years and 10,000 man-hours of labor restoring the vintage plane. It's one of only 46 still in existence of the more than 15,000 that were produced.
The P-47 was moved into place today at its permanent location in the museum.
It will be named after famed Utah pilot Col. Glenn Todd Eagleston, a World War II ace from Farmington.
