SALT LAKE CITY -- A tractor-trailer rollover has forced the closure of two lanes on the eastbound Interstate 80 on-ramp to southbound Interstate 15 in Salt Lake City.
The Utah Highway Patrol says the accident happened around 1:30 Wednesday afternoon. The driver of the semi truck was not injured, but UHP says the lanes will remain closed until the accident scene can be cleaned up.
All traffic is being rerouted to northbound I-15. The Utah Department of Transportation says motorists can exit northbound I-15 at the 600 North exit to turn around and re-enter southbound I-15, which will allow them to get back to I-80.
UDOT also suggests truckers consider using state Route 201 to Interstate 215 to re-enter eastbound I-80.
